Double-Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, John "Jay" Meyer, MD takes great pride in serving the people of Sarasota County: His clinic is conveniently located on Tamiami Trail (Highway 41) in Sarasota, senior patients from Venice, Northport, and Englewood travel to have Sarasota Family Medical monitor their care.
Our Sarasota medical clinic is unique: We see internal medicine patients by appointment, and run Sarasota Family Medical as an urgent care and walk-in clinic. Our patients can see one of our medical professionals any time during operating hours with the comfort of knowing their doctor will review and follow-up. We are open Monday-Saturday year round. To avoid costly hospital testing, we offer labs, x-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiogram in house for the patient's convenience.
